Referring to the safe as one “sturdy safe”, reviewers commented that this biometric pistol safe is reliable, small and compact, and really easy to program and use. Another reviewer noted that he feels that this safe is very solid, and that it does not suffer from serious design flaws that other small gun safes do. Reviewers overall feel that the Sentry Safe is very room and spacious for its small size. On the other hand, there are owners that are concerned about how reliable this safe really is. Although we feel this is a great little safe that’s reliable and affordable, there are some people that shouldn’t purchase it. For those that are looking for a safe that doesn’t require batteries, we don’t recommend purchasing this safe. Also, for those that need to store more than one gun or lots of ammunition, the Sentry Safe Biometric Quick Access Pistol Safe probably isn’t your best option.
We love this safe for what it is. It’s small and compact, and can even be taken along on trips. It provides security, keeping children and inexperienced gun handlers away from your firearms, while keeping them close by in case of an emergency.
